I was looking forward to receiving this piece of leather to make a couple of nice wallets. However, The piece I got is so covered in scratches and defects that out of the entire hide, I will be lucky to clear enough leather to make a single wallet. Some scratches etc are expected, but this hide is beyond saving, there is no surface to the skin and it is in VERY POOR condition. a closer look at the hide before sending is very much needed. I would NOT recommend this product.
