Radio works good. Had to manually program. Ftdi chip, 409 Shop software nor chirp will communicate or give a driver for the USB cable supplied. Super fast Shipping
Works great. Got it programmed with chirp. Had a hard time with windows recognizing the cord. Contacted the seller and emailed me the driver and software. Never used or installed software, only driver. Got a bulk head mount and got it mounted on a bracket on the grille of my 05 Tacoma. Fair amount of range with local PD and Sheriffs, when you go through a repeater it goes 15 miles. Never tested further just locally
