Item received very fast!!! I connected the converter from an old DVD player Denon 2200, I used the S-video output and the output of the converter (HDMI) to my recent Samsung TV, it works fine. Remark: I don't use the audio of the conveter (my choice), my Denon DVD player is directly connected to an amplifier (digital Tos-link signal). You just have to find a 5Vdc power supply in order to supply the converter, the item is simply to use.
