This board comes with a boot loader installed. It identifies itself as "Arduino Micro" in Windows Device Manager. I soldered on the supplied headers and uploaded the Blink sketch. It works. AVRDude identifies the chip as ATmega32U4. Note that there is a very thick capacitor on the bottom of the board. The board does not quite lie flat when mounted on headers with standard 2.54 mm standoffs.
