Adapter works unstable, sometimes ok, but most of time same lens can by unrecognized, time to time autofocus sharp, but most times is soft. Sometimes focusing extremely slow, sometimes fast. Never know when it will work or not. When connect to usb lens mount is not recognized. There not possible find firmware updates. It is waste of money, avoid.
Pros: - It works. - It's got a switch for CDAF / PDAF - It's got a microUSB port (but see the cons) - the featured tripod shoe can be removed and attached without a tool - the package includes a nice hard plastic case for the adapter Cons: - It feels kind of metal and cold but it's mostly plastic - The front mount is plastic with shiny chrome coat - The chrome coating is like to crack and end up inside your valuable camera... - The chrome coating is already cracking in my just-arrived adapter, see the photo and look especially the inner mould - The rear mount is maybe plastic too, I don't know. It feels "soft". Chroming is just for cosmetic reasons I think. - Even the attached user guide warns to hold and carry a weighty lens by gripping its barrel... So again, this is mostly plastic - microUSB-port doen't have a cover (maybe I'll just add some Sugru on it) - the user guide does't tell where to get firmware updates or how to use the microUSB port
