The inductor is static and glued to the shaft, it wasn't mentioned anywhere on the page and in the comments, and it wasn't clear from the pictures. With a static inductor you loose all benefits of advanced brakes. Though the spool is indeed very light and fits older version of T3 Ballistic very well
