Attention ! #1) This lamps are NOT for RHD cars, they're for LHD, FOG on the Left, Reverse on the Right. Not switchable like other brands. #2) Units are for Halogen tails, so Golf R LED tail owner will need connector modification. (Resistors, too.) #3) On my goods, Smoke Red color is darker on the Right, lighter on the Left, doesn't match. #4) Due to Chinese holiday, communication with seller was not helpful at all. (contact person couldn't answer above #1 issue.) However, for LHD car owners, I'd still highly recommend to. #5) Ultra fast delivery ! #6) Overall product quality is very good, and only available "Mk6 sequential tail" swings all the way till the end. Now, I will need to cut out Inner two lamp housings, swap Fog & Reverse...
I cut out Inner lamp lenses, swapped Fog & Reverse LEDs for RHD. But now I noticed that Outer lamps doesn't fit my Mk6 Cabriolet !! It's my fault that I wasn't aware of different lamp lens shapes before purchase... I still want sequential blinkers so decided to modify them, cut out extra housing tabs to install on the car, but I need to come up an idea to enlarge lamp lens corner for perfect fit somehow.... Again, attention to 517 Mk6 cab/convertible owners: unless you're willing to go through extra hustles, this unit is NOT for you.
