very nice rod. came in a hard PVC tube to protect it during shipping. also comes with soft cloth rod bag with 4 separate compartments. rod feels nice put together. very helpful alignment indicators too. I would class this as a very fast action rod. good balance once the reel is on. the butt section may be a little long but otherwise fine. 4 seaguides that I could see. the ones towards the top of the rod appear to be generic ones. very happy with purchase so far and shipping was on time!
