I am a frequent camper and this sleeping bag does not look like qualified for -5 temperatures. I think -2 would be the maximum before this bag became very uncomfortable and comfort temperature at 4. You want to pack extra warming liners for sure if you are camping in early spring or late fall. Certainly not winter. Unfortunately the weather is not cold enough for me to fully test the temperature range of this bag. I am willing to change my review if proven wrong. The bag is very light but perhaps not durable for real backpacking excursions. I am keeping the bag but I am going to pack extra layers of warmth as I am skeptical of its ability.
