I read the reviews, many of which were from the USA, so naturally, i thought the foot control could be used in North America. Unfortunately, the plug and wiring are only suitable for outside the continent, so I now own a useless pedal.

The ad stated that it also can be used for 'Pfaff 260,262,360,362 (3 pin)'. Unfortunately that is not the case. I have a Pfaff 260 (from 1964) and it can't be used with this type of sewing machine. I tried. This pedal only can be used as a replacement for electronic pedals. I have an old, steel mechanical pedal with a large resistor internally and you need another type of replacement pedal for that, not this one. I am dissappointed because the ad told me otherwise.
