So far this has proven reliable and is an adequate transformer for buck conversion and PWMs, etc. I just knew when it arrived that it showed quality and it hasn't let me down (that said, its no lab supply and I can't seem to manage a constant current over 0.5A) Shame, just a regular switching transformer I guess. Is this progress over the linear type? Really? I still miss my toroidal transformers!
