It works for what is intended but has some drawbacks your should be aware of: - the feet will get really hot, some silicon covers on them would help - the temperature seems higher than needed for melting solder paste or solder, some kind of temperature stabilization would help - but hard to expect that at this price - it arrived slightly bent at corners, the aluminium is very soft and can get easily deformed; you can straighten it with bare hands
