The "gold" part is a plastic coating on silver tape, wich can be pealed of quite easely. So apply withe care. The tape looks good, but for me it could have looked more "gold" coulored..

It is difficult to separete from the backing paper. And need to be handeld with Cate, or the gold coating, witch is yellow-ish plastic, can come off.. It has a fiber glass like structure in it, so it van not be stretched in any wat. Still a good result can be reached, with some patience and skills. The tape sticks realy well, not tested in the enginebay yet, where tempertures are fluctuating. Whe will see how it holds up.
