There is some random scribble in the instruction booklet I received with not sign/message to whether this signifies anything. The model only uses single 1x1 blocks which is why the count is so high I know this type of block comes in other sizes and using longer block strips could reduce the stability issues other reviewers mention (but would reduce the number of blocks in the model). I'll only find out if all the blocks are there when I've finished which will take some time.
