The IEC cord that comes with the unit is rather short. No bother since who doesn't millions of those around. This model doesn't have on/off switch. The unit starts in stand-by mode, but the soldering iron side stays constantly on, the blower side cools down to 100 degrees celsius when placed in the holder, and after a while turns off.
