I use light geralumin pegs for camp touring. However, they are difficult to stick in hard ground and the pegs sometimes bend. So I bought this one. I chose this straight type peg because it is cheap. The head of this peg has a little step and I only use it for hard ground, so I think the straight type is fine. The pegs have a logo on them, and I think they are good pegs that will satisfy my sense of ownership. (`・ω・´)
Quality product. Received item in 23 days in central USA, 3 days after earliest estimate, 17 days before latest estimate. The straight spike design offers good strength against bending when hammered into hard earth. However, the small head offers less hold for a tent guy-line than pegs with a notch or hook. It is important to set the stake at 90 degrees to the pull, or slightly less. The bright orange cord makes it easier to pull stakes from the ground. It also makes them more visible so they are less likely to be lost. The paracord loop has five internal strands. I have removed the strands so that the cord does not hold as much water when wet -- the shell alone is plenty strong and just as visible. The overhand knot was retied into with water knot. I carry a couple of these stakes as main guy-line supports for hard/rocky ground where lighter V-shaped stakes are difficult to hammer into the ground.
