very pure signal, you need to be ~1m from WiFi and direct visible device to get 600Mbps, if you are ~3m you can get max 130Mbps or if you behind the wall 30cm toll and 1.5m distance from WiFi you also will get pure signal max 130Mbps. I have native Intel 5G WiFi on my Notebook and it perfectly works in all conditions and distances very good signal and you can get better performance. This device use Realtek chipset and if you go to management console you will not get a lot of configuration parameters and if you switch to ac only your performance will be very, very poor. I have bought 3 usb devices and they all do the same results. So yes this is better 2.4Ghz but you will not get better performance on distance.
