The power supply I received is nothing like the one pictured. I specifically ordered this one because I did not want a wall-wart style adapter, but that is what I was sent. I does seem to be listed as 5v 3A, so it should work, but it is not the style I ordered.
After carefully reviewing the product page, I do see that way down the page there is a picture that shows the 3A model is indeed a wall-wart type adapter, so my fault for not reading the entire listing before I made my purchase. The seller did in fact send the correct product, and I retract my earlier statement.
