Got this to to plug my RGB accessory with a 3 pin (pin, pin, blank, pin), to my Gibabyte RGB Fusion motherboard (pin, pin, pin). I didn't notice this in the product description but it comes with a gender changer (female to male) which I needed. This is required if your RGB accessory has a female end to plug directly into the motherboard which is almost always going to be the case. Keep in mind this is for addressable RGB (specify LED's individually), not non addressable. I'm amazed at how hard something like this was to find and disappointed that all motherboard manufactures don't use the same standard. :(
