a good and strong flashlight, 5000lm is good enough and gives a lot of light in the dark, I am not sure if the animals do not see this light, sometimes it seems so. they certainly don't see a red light, especially the rats and mice. it is a pity that there are non-rechargeable small batteries in the laser and no rechargeable ones like the flashlight.
