Had a cord breaking. Did som testing. There is sharp edge in the 3 holes that holds the Cord, but it cuts into the cord, and if there is a little tension when you move the ring to tension your cord, you cut your cord. And all the work of this little ring is tension, so you can't use it without damaging your Cord. I know MSR have similar looking rings, but i guess all the work is done in the shape of the hole. This lookalike fail big.
