I have to say I tested this against other 40mm drivers and it was impressive. it's a smooth response and doesn't struggle unless really pushed (I use a matrix m stage headphone amp) vocals, guitars, real instrument's shine on these drivers. if you need to replace a vintage set of headphones with 40mm drivers then look no further. Check the frequency response against the original driver.
