Lovely set. Good quality pieces.
I'm very happy with the set! I have looked around a lot and I could not find a better offer anywhere online. 4-player chess is not a hugely popular game (yet), so I think this is one of the best options available for someone who wants to play in public. The chess pieces: the king height is indeed 97mm. Each piece has a small piece of cheaper, green felt on the bottom. If you would like to add weight to these chess pieces, you can remove the felt and fill the cavity within the chess piece with something. Vinyl mat: I think the mat is totally satisfactory. There are no creases, blemishes, or printing errors on the vinyl. The squares on the vinyl mat are 40x40mm. Packaging: the entire set was enclosed in a tubular black bag with a zipper and a strap, all of which was wrapped in bubble wrap, so A+ for packaging. Delivery time: about 2 weeks to arrive in Vienna, Austria. Cheers, A
