Quality, for the price, is surprisingly decent :-) Solid aluminum body, steel tube/slider, cast aluminum backplates (2 types included). Travel could be smoother, but is ok. After quick test no noticable backlash. Comes in a very sturdy box, packed in half of world supply of bubbly wrap :-D
