Caution! The data blockers I received do not block USB3.0 devices, as all the USB3.0 data lines are connected. For testing, I plugged a USB3.0 hard drive into the PC through the data blocker and it worked. I made a modification to short the USB3.0 data lines. I don't know how compatible the modifications are with various fast charging schemes. Maybe it would have been better to just cut the traces of all the USB3.0 lanes. I don't know why they used USB3.0 connectors at all. Anyway, please be aware that USB3.0 is not blocked as you might expect! I include some pictures of the inside and modification I made. To make the modification, the case must be slid off and the rubber cut through.
