Haven't had a chance to test the peak but it did run a heat gun at the highest setting with no problem. Running it off of my 48 volt golf car for some in the field AC.

This seems to be a well made unit. I use it to power a full size 120V 36" refrigerator and a 1200 watt microwave simultaneously, along with other smaller loads.
