The lamp holder is well made all metal. The shipping was fast but appears violent, the box was damaged and the lamp dented but being all metal i was able to restore the shape quite easily by bending it back into a round shape. It looked as if someone had sat on it and then kicked the box like a football. Never the less it works perfectly and serves the purpose. Thanks.
