This is my second batch of actuators from this seller. Seller is incredibly helpful, the actuators are securely packed and they seem very robust (see previous post for some pictures of the internals). There was one actuator in this batch that consumed 1.1A io the 0.8A of the others in unloaded mode. After opening it up this was easily fixed : it turned out that one of the round 'springs' behind the motor cap to keep the axis in place was a bit stuck behind a ridge on the motor cap (hard to explain , see picture for clarification) so that it was sticking out too far on the other side, probably causing an excessive force in the axial directions on the bearings with increased friction as a result . Swapping the 2 springs fixed this problem. I am guessing the outermost one was bit smaller than normal or something causing it to get stuck inside. Anyway, highly recommended seller!

Arrived in Belgium in a week time, very well packed. The whole unit gives a robust impression, it uses about 1A in without load, and with a load of +- 50kg it takes 1.5A. No sounds of straining with that load, but it is rated up to 3000n so that is to be expected (i did not test higher loads). I opened up one unit to see what is in inside, see pictures for the 'gearing' mechanism used. Everything looks robust , and is easily accessible to replace parts should that be necessary. Inner spindle is 14mm in diameter. Seller is very helpful when contacted. Highly recommended, I ordered 3 more units.
