The tape is just like the pics and is very sticky. Seems to stick well. Used it to stick some parts of led strip on kitchen cabinets and seems to hold on well irregardless of the fact that it's hot and pretty steamy when you cook. Only thing that annoys me is that if you use a small piece, the red backing is a pain to get off and you need something sharp to help you remove the backing. Don't know if that's the norm with this type of double sided tape. But this tape is definitely way better than the paper thin double sided tapes.
