It's a good cooler, with a Core i5 760 WITHOUT thermal paste CPU temps are around 45º C on iddle, and around 65º C with hard load. But that's because it uses 6 heat pipes and 2 fans @ 2300 RPM, the fins are... well, plain inox tin, nothing fancy. The hold method, it's so damn hard to lock the cooler in place, and then the fins feel so flimsy, I was afraid to bend them just locking the cooler in place. Maybe the cooler will die in a year or so because it's a normal cooler, nothing fancy there. My guess is that with thermal paste you could get around 40º C / 60º C and with a good thermal paste (Artic Silver) maybe 35ºC / 55º C. My biggest con is the lack of thermal paste, the most common thermal paste is so cheap that you can't help but wonder why the seller did not included a few drops as a gift... Then again, for the price, you get a very decent cooler.
