First, sensors are of excellent quality. I ordered NC, got NO, and the seller insists that it is NC. Normally open relays default in the open position, meaning that when they're not in use, there is no contact between the circuits. This one I got, has no connection until the magnet comes close. I am very sorry if this is changed in the meantime, but this is how they teach us in schools and universities 30 years ago.
