Depending on how thick your test tube’s wall is it might be a little tight. I just put it on the rounded side of the test tube so it doesn’t roll and the water is constantly touching the cotton. Other than that it’s cheap and handy. So if you have some founding colonies, I can definitely recommend you getting this.
