The hFE are very low and not within range as indicated in the specifications. I bought 5 pairs of 2SA1494/2SC3858) only 2 of them are within hFE rank Y (50-100). Also I tested one of the 2SC3858 (NPN) which was showed PNP in tester. So the quality is not good.
