I purchased some star mount bases as well as some adapters that should fit in them. I'm not sure if the base is too small or the adapter is too big, but they do not fit together. The adapter does not go all the way in the mount which prevents it from locking. I tried multiple adapters and multiple bases. Wasted money.
After further investigation, I have determined that these adapters are the problem. They do not fit the bases sold on AliExpress and do not fit the name brand RB bases. I purchased similar adapters from 2 different stores and both had the same issue so I would avoid buying these from AliExpress.
