Please note the input and output capacitors used. There are 0402 series and have a dielectric strength between 4V and 6.3V. Original manufacturer uses 1206 series with dielectric strength of 50V. These modules are advertised with Vin 5-15V but physically they can only be used with max. 6.3V be operated! Where is the logic?
