Perhaps my expectations were too high, but it's good for the money: At first I was scared to turn it on, because it looks like a beast. But I soon found out the steam jet is only hot very close to the outlet. From 10 cm the steam is very comfortable on your hand (would be nice to use for a steam shower...) Actually, thinking about it, steam is invisible, so the fact that you can see it means it has actually condensated. To test this I sprayed a tea thermometer directly with the jet. Of course not 100% accurate, but still interesting: Whatever I did I could not get it above 70 Celsius. But no doubt: The machine generates steam! That's where the pressure comes from. I think most of the effect is due to steam pressure, so this works like a lightweight version of a pressure washer, that uses and spills much less water. It's great for that, but no miracle solution. It works against rough dirt, but only if you hold it very close or scrub. You could also use it as a harmless "smoke machine".
