this door viewer is made of PLASTIC. it doesn't seem to have the correct viewing angles either. i think it's too long for my front door as well. my biggest shock was that the material is plastic and not sturdy nor safe to install in your front door. i do NOT recommend this item. pay a bit more and guarantee yourself better safety! as for the seller, this item arrived in just over one month to canada. in terms of transaction and that it arrived safety, i'm okay with that. however, in terms of quality, i would not recommend this item.
