I bought this for a Marlin 795 rifle. The laser DOES NOT FIT into this rifle. Also, instruction contradicts itself on when the laser should turn on - one place says turn on when the case is screwed in, the next sentence says need to pull the trigger (this is probably going to damage the rifle).
