Item is as described. Brightness is good and very smooth and even. It is normal for these to make a small high pitch sound. They run off an inverter that converts the DC input to an AC output. So it will make a small buzzing sound. Unless the surrounding is really quiet, it can hardly be heard. Looks and works great as expected.
