Packing is good and nothing damaged. But the shape of the 6p3p tubes are not the same as in the ad [see 1st photo for all the tubes received] . The rectifier tube changed from 5Z4P to 5U4C. The driver tube changed from 6n8p to 6h8c. The coupling capacitors between stages changed from 0.22uf to 0.33uf. Don't know how it is going to affect the sound of the amp . The circuit diagram is good as it has the designed voltages. Not recommend the seller to fellow DIYers. [2nd photo shown what is in the ad]
nice kit... usual issue with the power transformer being rated for 110VAC but my power is 125VAC average is 120VAC... I really wish the Chinese amp/transformer builders would update their voltage ratings for North America to 120VAC 12% over is too high for the components especially the tubes. They end up running way too hot. I always have to build a bucking circuit/transformer to drop the voltage. But... over all VERY happy with this store
