Upgraded old Turnigy 9x transmitter with this module. Works well with new releases of ER9X firmware. Now the radio-protocol could be set in model settings page on the transmitter.
The stock module firmware is outdated. I was not able to bind a drone using AFHDS2A protocol (basic FLYSKY binds OK, so the hardware is operational). After a firmware upgrade from GitHub - AFHDS2A binds OK. Please note, that the firmware upgrade required a six-pin AVR ISP header and a 3.3v (!) AVR programmer. Common 5-volt programmers are NOT suitable as the atmega328p is 5v-compatible, but radio-modules are not!!!. По-русски: аппаратная часть платы нормальная, но прошивка - непонять что. Биндится с простыми протоколами для старых приемников, а более новый AFHDS2 не работает. Пришлось перешивать текушей прошивкой с гитхаб - тогда все ОК. Для прошивки обязательно иметь программатор с 3.3 вольтовым интерфейсом. Если подать 5 вольт, то контроллер выдержит, а радиочасть умрет.
