Buy in pairs (or more pieces), so that you can upgrade firmware using one board to program another. To do this, short JP2 jumper on tje slave device (to be programmed) and connect it directly to master device (that will program slave one). Also connect master device to USB. Then use fresh usbasp firmware and avrdude software to perform upgrade.
