I didn't expect much from this reel being so cheap. But even at $100 it is not worth it. I bought it as a gimick, but even to do that would be almost impossible to fish with. The drag adjustment is rubbish and wouldn't last one run. Drag washer is dry so would need to grease that appropriately. Edges are all burred and not cleaned up from fabrication. Lots of play between the shaft and bearings, whic in turn means the gears don't mesh correctly. I do not recommend this reel in any way, shape or form. Even if it was for a joke fish, you wouldn't be able to do it.
