Bought a billet of each pattern; fireball and raindrop to test the material before any significant purchase of more qty. I have to say I’m very pleased. It is as described , I do have to mention in case it matters to anybody, for me it’s a non issue. there is a variance in thickness between the two billets (both supposed to be 2.2mm) both are a min of 2.2mm with one being slightly thicker than the specs. I believe this tolerance is stated as +/- 0.5mm in the The description. I have Forged /filed / hacksaw both billets with no issues or deamination to speak of. It’s softer than the higher hrc Damascus that is more available to buy. I will be buying more. It’s a Good sound product , I highly recommend seller and this product. I hope they make more of the fireball, between the two it has a higher contrast when etched. However raindrop does Etch well and the pattern is easy to see
