It’s not about accuracy of description. But this type of “thin” connector is simply not working with MacBook Pro 2015 model. It is too loose and Its just impossible to make it hold contact. Was hoping for more :(
I compared iPhone charging cables USB A connector side by side with this and it was obvious that I need to trim 2-3mm of isolation for ir to fully connect to USB port. After that it works fine. Still this is not very user friendly.
