Driver handles up to 10A of input current. After exceeding this range it just switches the light off in a half of second without any excuses. It means that under 3.5V of supply voltage it is impossible to operate the light on 4.8A turbo (hidden fifth mode). It also means that only highly modded flashlight with fresh high-current 18650 cell will handle it. The driver delivers full 30W to the LED, taking 35W from the source (measured on 4V input voltage). 3.2A mode works down to 3V and is perfectly usable all the time. It delivers 18.5W to the LED, taking 21W from the source. Driver is completely silent so you can use it in the forest. Modes are changing reliably. It is high-efficiency, well designed driver.
