Couldn't ever get them working. I tried pretty much everything, SPI and parallel, several different microcontrollers, every possible combination of register settings from ssd1331, 1332, and even a few other random displays that they included settings for in the example code I got from the seller. Changing things like vcomh voltage works, but the display never shows anything. ultimately I've concluded that the pixel matrix in the displays I received is damaged, preventing them from displaying anything but still allowing communication with the driver. The seller was very understanding and helpful throughout the troubleshooting process though, and did send them quickly and fairly well packed
