it works fine but unfortunately it only for very thin materials.

It takes practice to use this sewing machine. You need to back stitch at the start and the end of the run to make sure that your stitch is strong. it's not the tightest stitch but for the price, I can't complain. This machine makes it easy and convenient to make small alterations and joins.
