I have installed and used the cyclone with my 6.5 H/P vacuum on sawdust and plaster dust. Virtually nothing gets into the vacuum, so the expensive paper filter stays clean. I'm very happy with the purchase. (As well the unit was shipped 3 weeks to Canada, which is very fast.)
