So this is not opal, it is in fact ‘opaline’ and I honestly didn’t know the difference. Opaline is man made, basically glass. While opal is a whole different looking stone altogether. Beware before you buy, this is NOT a natural gemstone! There is a small bubble in mine as you can see from the second picture.
This is also a little smaller than I expected. Not really happy with this purchase at all. Do not recommend!!!

superb crystal. opaline is one of my go to favourites. I've got quite a few of them now. they always brighten my day with their many shades. like they have a rainbow hidden inside.
